Team Lilac got their hands dirty today and got the GPSO gardening program up and running again for 2023!
First we ventured to Bunnings and asked the experts in the gardening section what we should need to plant some vegetables and herbs.
They put us on the right track with a compost potting mix, slow release fertiliser, quick release fertiliser some plant food.
Next the participants chose out the best spots to plant before digging the holes.
Once the holes were dug, the participants added the compost along with the fertilisers and transplanted the plants from the pots into the ground.
Today Team Lilac planted the tomato plants, both cherry tomatoes and regular.
